(Page 2)22. That sucks, i really enjoyed this place. I had the feeling this site wouldn't be around for long though with the few updates it would get, but as the owner of multiple websites i can totally understand the lack of updates considering only one person was contributing.
As for the "multiple calls" for writers, when was this? I never saw any posts asking for writers/contributors.
23. I liked your blog, it's too bad. Can I offer your viewers another digtal photography blog--it's different and you'll be sorely missed because your photographs came with the following:
Camera: Nikon D70
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1600)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 200 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
These really help students of photography learn because you can look at the numbers while you're looking at the frames' details--blur, clarity, focus and depth of field.
Best Wishes!

24. Maybe you should have done something "groundbreaking" like write some "original" content just like our boy Darren Rowse has on his digital camera blog. He had a whole write up on this blogs demise. (This is all sarcasm by the way)

27. I am sad to hear of this blogs demise. As a content provider myself, I respected this blog and I subscribed to hit and I would check for updates regularly. Too bad... Perhaps the author(s) recieved better offers due to the success of this blog? Some high-profile perhaps? Some assignment with a prestigous fashion studio perhaps? But hey guys, I welcome new readers! 28. What a bummer. I just found this blog while searching for others that share my interest in photography. And of course this is my first visit.
But I guess if something isn't working then it's best to move on.

30. "I am sure it has potential, and on several occasions wondered if I could do something to help out etc"
~my thoughts exactly...I enjoyed visiting and learning and seeing great imagery (including my own work) featured...sad to see it go thought, but I always remain the optimist, change is a good thing, it's through change that bigger and better things happen, and I hope the folks who started this venture will only be led in more profitable and successful ventures~
31. Not sure if anyone else mentioned this as i didnt read through all the posts but it seems like a number of weblogs blogs are being shut down.
The unofficial photoshop blog is being shut down too....
