2. It is a very interesting shot, with the fly having so much detail, nice use of macro. I cant imagine that with an f stop of 7.1 that blur could have been caused by the lens, I imagine you used photoshop. Anyway you look at it, its a great shot.

3. The blur does look like it's made by photoshop's gausian (sp?) blur.
