More On EXIF

PowerExif screenshotFollowing yesterday's EXIF data introduction I thought I should mention a few more details.

As well as allowing to view the details of how a picture was taken - depth of field, exposure settings to perhaps learn via a 'how did they do that' inquisitiveness many printers now support the standard. If your printer supports EXIF the driver can take this information and automatically enchance the image.

If you don't use photoshop or flickrother programs can be used to view the data. I know of several free to use EXIF viewers for example -

The first isavailable in a PRO version that offers some image manipulation tools. The ViewEXIE is a Firefox and IE extension. The latter company also offers PowerExif an editor for $49.99 (screenshot).  I should have also mentioned that images need to be in the JPEG format when saving.
