The increasing use of digital equipement is apparently helping lower the water pollution around
Stockholm.
Test have demonstrated that the reduce emissions of silver - from the development of silver-halide film - into the sewage system have lowered the silver pollution around the Swedish capital to under half in five years. A majority of emissions came from photo-labs as well as hospitals and denmtists from x-ray plates.
