With the imminent closure of
Agfa it seems the worldwide change to digital
photography is unstoppable. According to INfoTrends, a market research firm, almost 80% of professional
photographers now own a DSLR—and just over half of all photographers surveyed plan on purchasing a new one within the
next year. The average pro takes 482 shots a week, edits 65% of them, saves "the vast majority" to a computer, and
publishes "a significant percentage" on the web.
