Over the weekend, Canon launched a
new site dedicated to their CMOS sensors. There's not
much of technical interest—in fact there's no discussion at all that I could find of the differences between CCD and
CMOS sensors—but it is interesting to see a company starting to sell thier technology to consumers, instead of just
selling megapixels.
