1. I use http://www.winkflash.com -- 12-cent prints and 99-cent flat rate shipping. The print quality is as good as Ofoto, Snapfish or Shutterfly.

2. So far, I've been using an ink jet printer (Epson Stylus Photo R200) but I'm not entirely satisfied, mostly because I feel the color gamut is too small.

3. I use one site, MPIX.COM, they are the best I have found.

I have trief ofoto, shutterfly, snapfish, yahoo, ezprints, etc. and MPIX.COM is hands down the best I have found.

They aren't as cheap as some of the others, but their prices are still extremely reasonable. The quality of the prints is by far the best I have found.

They are owned by a company who's primary business is doing prints for professional photographers so they know what they are doing.

5. Snapfish. I'm all about Snapfish. The quality never varies and is consistently good. I also like that they offer "almost square" aspect ratio options for photos done with a point and shoot digicam so you can get the whole pic without cropping.

The quality of the prints and the speed that they're done really keeps me going back to them.

8. I've tried several of the ones mentioned and have settled in on White House Custom Color (www.whcc.com). They have great customer service and will print 5 8x10's for you free of charge to be sure your color management is up to snuff before setting you up an account... Quality is amazing and the prices are great, a little more than some of the lower-end sites and a little less than MPix...

9. I have my own color printer, but I can't calibrate it properly. I'm sure I waste more money with trial and error getting the color right. I've noticed that the prints fade easily with time.

I usually go to my local color lab. They're a bit more expensive than, say, Walmart, but the quality is superb! Unfortunately, their large prints are extremely expensive. Then I use MPIX.COM, which is pretty good- better than snapfish.

10. I recently ordered some of my own prints from DeviantArt. When you order your own you can get them at base price. The prints I ordered were 12 x 18s on lustre paper (DeviantArt use Fuji Crystal Archive paper) and they look fantastic.

I was also able to sucessfully clean one print using WD40 as it got some spray mount on it. I've tried WD40 on my home printer (Epson CX5400) prints and it was a disaster!
