Hasselblad has announced the Q3 release of an H2 series of cameras in response to the popularity if the H1 series. The H2 and H2D are using a 37mm x 49mm 22 Megapixel CCD Sensor. Three storage options are now available with the H2 series. If you are location and you need to stay portable just drop in a CF card. For larger storage needs you can attach a firewire drive or connect directly to a PC. Hmmm, now if I just sold my house, car, and got a loan against my first child, I could actually afford to get one.

(Page 1)2. Answer: Not nearly as much as the H2 + a top-of-the-line digital back. There is simply nothing in the 35mm world that approaches the money -- in and out -- of super-high-end fashion and commercial shooting.
And that, of course, is a pittance compared to high end moving picture shooting. But I'm not sure any top of the line movie stuff are owned by individuals, or why they would need it.

1. The H1 digital camera by Hasselblad goes for about $21,000. I can't imagine what the H2D is going to sell for! Wow!
