Finally, an open source alternative for panoramic photostiching. If you lament the complete lack of wide angleness

of your scene - stitch them together and lo and behold you can beat any 16 mm fish eye! Ah yes, it is cross

(Page 1)2. Well for those who can't afford Photoshop (or can't, ahem, aquire it) this is a free alternative. It's also more advanced than photomerge is in Photoshop's Automate options.
I assume it's better than most other run of the mill photo editing suites as well since it's a dedicated program, rather than an afterthought.

3. Ah right, fair enough....hadn't thought of it quite like that...the main reason I asked though, is that, with a little imagination (and very little skill) you can actually merge photo's and make panaramas using ........ paint. Really, you can...I've done it.

4. Anyone interested in stitching together photos should look at the free automatic stitcher available from www.autostitch.net. It figures everything out - no little targets to line up. You give it the photos in any order, and it just figures out how to get them to line up. Pretty amazing, I've been able to auto-stitch 30 photos together!
