Infrared Photography With a Digital Camera

(Page 1)2. Rajeshori,
Your best bet is to post your question to a Canon forum, for example DPReview has a forum dedicated to the 300D.
I just got a B+W Infrared (IR) filter for my D70. I've only taken a few IR pictures, but wow is it fun. For good advice on processing digital IR photos, check out Thom Hogan's article at http://www.bythom.com/infrared.htm. He has several other excellent articles on digital photography. Two that come to mind are his digital B&W, and Sharpening 101. Enjoy!

3. The Digital Rebel does indeed support IR photography but there appear to be some issues with a hot spot in the images ... this might have been dealt with. IR photography with this camera requires long exposures of 10 seconds plus and the use of a Hoya R72 filter - visit this site for more info: http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/digital/eos_digital_rebel_xt_review.html
